Dr. Cole attended Moeller High School in Cincinnati, and then went on to Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. He majored in Psychobiology with a minor in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. His next academic stay was at Western Kentucky University, where he earned his M.A. degree with a double major in Clinical Psychology and Experimental Psychology.
After graduate school, Dr. Cole was a psychologist at Comprehensive Mental Health Services in St. Petersburg, Florida, working worked with children and families. He provided individual counseling, group therapy, marital therapy, and academic, behavioral, intellectual and psychological testing. He also worked as a liaison with several schools, designing academic and behavioral programs for challenged children.
Dr. Cole attended Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. He did his internship at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, and then his residency in Family Practice at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He obtained his Board Certification in Family Practice immediately afterwards. The American Naturopathic Medical Association awarded Dr. Cole his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree in 1989. He is also Board Certified in Integrative Medicine. Dr. Cole opened his private practice after the completion of his residency, and has been practicing in that capacity ever since.
