The Cole Center and Cincinnati Hyperbarics have improved my quality of life and given me the strength and confidence to battle my cancer.

As so many people with cancer have experienced, I’ve been through countless rounds of medication and treatments during the course of my conventional health care. While some things have offered temporary relief, I found that my system was becoming weaker, and, worse than that, I was losing confidence in my ability to keep on. I could see it in my face and feel it in my lack of stamina. My color was fading, my energy level was low, and I was taking on the look of someone losing hope.

I decided to pursue other forms of treatment to support my chances for healing and give me renewed strength. I learned of Dr. Cole and the Cole Center, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. And when I walked through the door, I knew I had made a good decision. Dr. Cole and his amazing staff have made me feel better inside and out, by caring for me as a person first, and then by providing the treatments I needed for my body to fight the illness. My name is Jamie and I would like to talk about my journey to better health and my life altering experience with Dr. Cole and his staff.

I was sent to Dr. Cole by my physician at the University of Michigan hospital. I was critically ill, completely dependent on others for my care, and was quickly losing hope. I had exhausted all avenues of treatment with conventional medicine and at the end of my rope. I decided to give Dr. Cole a chance as I hadn’t nothing left to lose. This is a decision I soon learned I would never regret.

This has not been an easy journey, nor a short one, everyday was a battle. I don’t live in Ohio, so coming here for treatment was a solitary journey as my friends and family are all back in Michigan. I am grateful for the staff at The Cole Center for Healing, they treat you like a person, not a statistic, and that your health and wellbeing are important. This makes the healing process a little more bearable.

Gradually under Dr. Cole’s care, I am getting better everyday. I am no longer dependent on others to help with my daily routine, and I no longer feel I am fighting for my life every day. I now feel as if I have a greatly improved quality of life. Dr. Cole and staff have given me my life back and for that I am eternally grateful.

The Cole Center and Cincinnati Hyperbarics have helped me achieve amazing results by treating my prostate cancer.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2008. It’s a form of cancer that is measured by PSA levels in the blood. When I found that I had it, I was plenty concerned. My levels were pretty well advanced, with a score of over 250. But, I’m the kind of guy who values good information and I wanted to give myself the best possible chance of whipping this illness and having a normal life. And there’s a lot of information on prostate cancer treatments and procedures to learn about.

I believe the body has amazing natural recuperative powers when given the right input, like good diet and properly applied treatments of natural medicine. So, I began researching those options that would give me the most solid foundation for healing. And after discovering Dr. Cole, the decision for me to begin treatments at the Center, was, well, a natural one. I was particularly impressed with what I learned about hyperbaric oxygen therapy and how it fortifies the body’s natural ability to combat illness and promote healing. So, I made the commitment to drive from my home in Indianapolis for regular treatments at Cincinnati Hyperbarics and it has been a solid decision from the start. Not only have I seen a huge drop in my PSA level, I feel better overall from the medical care and attention I receive from Dr. Cole and his team.

My daughter is 4 years old. From birth to age 3, she was diagnosed with Leukemia, dwarfism, IgG Deficiency, Neutropenia, Asthma, Chondrodysplasia Punctata, Excema, a sensory processing disorder, seasonal allergies, and an allergy to eggs and milk.

HER EXPERIENCE WITH MODERN MEDICINE
In March, 2013, I was giving my daughter her IVIG at our home. One minute she was watching Ratatouille and the next minute she was unresponsive and not breathing. I administered 2 shots of epinephrine while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

HOW SHE GOT INVOLVED WITH HYPERBARIC OXYGEN CHAMBERS
Friends of ours in Europe told us about Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Therapy and we started treatment almost immediately. In addition we started her on acupuncture and chiropractic care. She did all 3 treatments weekly.

In November, 2013, our daughter had her first visit with Dr. Cole. We brought all of her medical records with us and he took the time to look over them, asking questions, and listening to us. He listened to our goals and our wishes.

WHY DO WE LOVE THE COLE CENTER
Our daughter has never had more energy in her life. She is happy. She has NO side effects at all from the treatments we are following Because of the age she was when she started her treatment, our daughter had anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

WE COULDN’T BE HAPPIER
Dr. Cole and his team have been a dream to work with. They listen to our needs and follow through making suggestions that continue to keep our daughter fully functioning, and healthy. In one of the harshest winters we have seen in years, she only went to the emergency room twice vs 10-15 times in previous winters.
